What are the tram cars?

The tram cars are one of the most popular ways to get around Ocean City. These vintage trolleys offer a unique way to see the sights and sounds of the city. They also play obnoxious, pre-recorded warnings anytime someone steps near it to avoid accidents. One such recording says, “Watch the tram car please.” Over the course of a night, you might hear that played over a hundred times if you’re walking down the boardwalk.

Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum

Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum is a popular attraction in Ocean City. This museum is filled with oddities and curiosities from around the world. From shrunken heads to two-headed animals, there is something for everyone at Ripley’s. Just like its predecessor, the TV show the 1990’s and early 2000’s, the host would travel around the world to look at amazing people, places, and things. One show featured the world’s tallest man. Another show featured a woman with 6 fingers. A third show showcased a famous topless festival that occurs every year. The increase in the popularity of the internet lessened the viewership of the show, leading to its eventual cancellation.

The Music Pier

The Music Pier is one of the most popular venues in Ocean City. This historic pier has been home to a variety of shows and concerts over the years. Today, it is home to the Ocean City Pops Orchestra, which performs a variety of concerts throughout the summer. These concerts range from classical music to pop music.
